Princess Edamame\’s Parties

You CAN have a great party – just learn from my mistakes!

To The Curious Google-er

Why on earth would you want to cook edamame in a crock pot?  Really, it doesn’t take long.  Boil water, put in frozen beans, bring back to a boil, cook about 5 mintes, drain, salt, eat.

So, if you should pass this way again, please let me know exactly how busy you are, that you want to cook edamame in a crock pot.

  1. Well, I googled “edamame slow cooker”, but that’s because I’m not real bright with food.

  2. Oh no! In a crock pot? That would be awful. I like the 5 minute method that you’ve suggested. 🙂

  3. I just made a crock pot soup that called for the edamame to be added in the beginning. At the end of 8 hours on low it tastes and looks awful! I googled it to see if anyone else would possibly recommend this method! Hopefully no one. Better Home and Garden Cook Book, you let me down.
